Sorry for a late reply, hope you got there ok. For future visits its not to far to walk from bank quay, if you come out of the station turn right , follow the signs for the golf driving range (the road runs along the train track) just at the entrance for the golf range theres a official pathway allthough overgrown it takes you over the train track bridge and straight on to moore nature reserve at the eastern reedbeds. The other option is to get the bus (sorry dont know the no) to The Stag pub (A56 chester rd) theres a bridge that crosses the mersy link with a pathway at the side (sign posted trans pennine trail) again this put you at the eastern reed beds after a 50 mtr walk. |
