Re: Steel toed walking boots

ya big nancy, lol, prior ta gettin sick, i worked on farms cutting cauli n cabbage all winter. all my working life, and i never measured how far we walk but wes on our feet n moving every daylight hour from october to march. And any guy that turn up in fancy hundred quid hiking boots get laughed out the field. lol, i bet your oilers have to be gortex anawl right?

I got a brookes catalogue here: Brookes UK > Home Page and they got a pair of gortex lined caterpillars all bells n whistles for £115. break my heart to spend half that on boots. they got some regatta and dickies waterproof ones in there too, tho any leather boot aint gonna last long in wet.

best thing in there is a sort of rubber rigger boot at 23 quid
