That's the beauty of this site. A good mix of knowledge, some great questions, friendly banter, a few jokes but most of all a welcoming community with no anoraks. I find the content of the site fascinating and, as I have said before, I now see a quiet walk as quite a noisy one, but for all of the right reasons. I am even beginning to apprecite the nature sounds around me want to explore where they are coming from and what they are up to, even hoping to get a photo. I have even began to accept creepy crawlies - from a distance.
It would be nicer to see more youngsters on here though - maybe they are the guests and do not have the facility to contribute photos as they may not have the equipment but it would be good to know that they are utilising the site as a reference guide and for facts that are not normally expressed on more generic sites or on sites that are that elitist that the terminology is somewhat 'too geeky'. |
