Hi People,
Just browsing this thread, and don't wear boots enough to give an opinion, but, can't you get nylon toecapped boots now. ? much much lighter, but perhaps your work rules and regs won't allow them.

P.S. Wish I'd have known you had a chainsaw license, we could have had the rest of the tree down.
