Hello I am new to this site, I only found it because I got so excited as I have just spotted my first swallow of 2008 and was Googling to find out if ours was a first for this bit of Scotland. Swallows have nested in our barn for all of the 20 years we have lived here and each year we eagerly await their return. Does this truly mean we might actually get a summer this year?
It has been sunny today but it has also been dark dismal and wet all within the space of a couple of hours.
