| Re: Please help the need to manually refresh pages tends to be a isp issue - it is much more common for exaple for users of aol than for some other isps - i very rarely need to do so (i'm on tesconet) tho it is good computing practice to hard refresh, and clear cookies, temp files etc on a regular basis anyway.
configuring your browser settings to regularly refresh will (or at least should) have no deleterious effects on the use of any websites - in fact it ought to improve the page load rate etc on all sites
also if any negative effects were experienced you could simply click on the option to restore default settings.
