Mens shoes rather than ladies are slightly better, but its still a problem.

I do have boots as well, but find boots too cumbersome for shorter walks and stuff like birdwatching etc.

Does anyone know of any brands or styles that are known for being a wider fit, or does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone else with the same problem?

Hi emma
I have wide feet and for light summer walking i have a pair of teva sandals. They are designed for walkers. My boots are zimberlain leather hiking boots, they are reasonably wide but first time on they hurt a bit. I waterproof them with neatsfoot oil and that helps to soften them up a bit and being leather they do stretch slightly. They are now extremely comfortable.
