Thanks to all. Of course I don't hold it against you Ollie...... I wondered which way to go myself I must admit and in all honesty Canon as a bigger company often seems to be in the lead. At the time though the D70 was way above the rest of the field in it's price range - of course with the spec is has almost been reduced to been available via cornflake tokens now it would seem! lol
A good friend of mine bought a canon and i thought it maybe had the edge on speed of autofocusing but then again it was a newer model... in the end the skill of the photographer outweighs equipment I suppose though it does help! |
