| Re: No impact from Energy Saving Day Personally I try to save energy wherever I can, because I can't afford not to, but at the same time I have some sympathy for richardkm's comment, some years have gone by since it was announced that new measures were in hand to increase the efficiency of street lighting, I have yet to see any evidence of of these measures being implemented, do any of you know of instances that will prove me wrong, just as a point of interest.
On the original point, I bet the energy companies breathed a sigh of relief that the saving day was a failure, just imagine the problems a massive fluctuation in demand would cause at the generating stations.
