But what does it really cost you to turn your TV off standby
the effort of having to walk a few steps to turn it on without the remote...
the trouble with the attitude that you are implying is that then nothing would get done- there will be always someone or something that you can use as an excuse for inaction on your own part...
true on its own its an insignificant difference but once you can multiply that effect by billions and more importantly billions doing so because they believe it is morally something they should do... well then you can get somewhere, attitudes have to change first
