I'm a Paramo fan too, but not so good for kneeling or sitting on wet grass.

Cheap rubber over-trousers can be found at Farm machinery shops for about 18 smackers - I use a pair of these if having to lie of kneel.

For REALLY warm stuff then hae a look at fishing / tackle shops - lots on the internet.

Just bought a 5 season sleeping bag from one such shop, that is NOT tapered - its been tested this week down to zero and works!!

Odd how little cross-over there is between different hobbies.
