| Field Mouse Hi, we have had field or house mice (about 2" long) in the house for a few weeks. They were after the dog biscuits. When we moved the biscuits they moved around the walls and got into the kitchen. Caused quite a mess in the cupboards. I set some humane traps and caught a couple. An adult male and a female about half the size (looked like a baby one - very agile). We have just taken them a couple of miles away and loosed them in a field. Is this the best course of action? Would it have been kinder to find a barn?
If there are any more babies is it okay to loose them on their own? I'd appreciate some advice.
Thanks, K. |
