Re: ant problem

Nippon ant traps will be eaten by the workers then fed to the larva and queen, killing her will stop any other eggs being laid. killing the larva will prevent new ants growing up.

But that leaves the adults and pupae. with an average life span of upto 3 weeks thats alot of ant footprints in your living room

Raid ant and cockraoch killer spray is like a fly spray but can be directed as a spray or jet and is residual in that where it is sprayed in jet form it stays active for weeks. Ants working over a liberal coating will clean themselves and injest the poison killing them.
Coat the holes that they are coming from with it and it will kill them for you.
Be aware that pets, babies and toddlers must be kept away

Niether one on their own is to good a solution but together they work like dynamite. but do not use the raid until a week or so after putting the nippon down other wise you will be killing the ants that will transfer the poison to the queen and larvae.

As much as I love to have ants around in my garden and even encourage them, I draw the line at in my house.
