| ant problem

their everywhere in my living room.... i had previously destroyed the nest as it was starting to encroach upon my living room in the thousands in the summer... i dug up my slabs (about 10 metre square) and strangely the throne room was easily available and i almost caught the queen but she slipped away deeper into the nest, so i chased it down with several kettles of water... this was war!
anyway 3 years = no ants.... this year, i find ants in the living room already... hundreds, soldiers and workers....
what can i do... ive got some any traps, designed to destroy the colony completly (poisoned food, slow acting so it kills the young) but anything else i can do? any more targeted attacks (although somehow i doubt much more is required beyond genocide.... )
