The Heath is brilliant for wildlife at all times of year the pond round the corner from the BR station is usualy pretty good for birds...and then the bit between Golders Hill Park and the Hill for woodland birds. |
Dont count on seeinng the kingfisher thou. Im yet too. Its usually on the bridge in the wildfowl area by the toilets. The egyptian geese have bred there too now. Also look out for th coot fighting to the right of the heronry and the tame grey squirrel (and when I say tame i mean jump on you if you stand still!) are down by the college
