I've just been down the garden - and seen a bird I never thought I'd see there, a kingfisher!
It swooped into the garden from the stream at the bottom and perched briefly on a branch that overhangs the pond. Didn't manage to photograph it - light too poor - but I'm thrilled to see one here!
