Some I have used and use now....Aloe vera, can be grown in a pot/tub. Take off a leaf and inside is lovely cool gel, then rub it on anything sore, sunburn etc or just on hands. Gingko biloba for forgetfullness

Valerian and hops to get to sleep, st johns wort to lift you up if you're feeling down.

Kelp for iodine, spirulina (not a herb but an algae) very good for minerals etc. Peppermint tea and manuka honey for stomach problems. Flaxseed oil for some fatty acids, and hemp seed oil for suntan lotion!
My favourite herbs are coriander and basil, although I don't know what effects they have

and dock leaves for nettle stings.
