I've used herbal remedies all my life and homoeopathy since 1980. Also Bach flower remedies, Tissue Salts, and a host of other complementary stuff including visulisation and had some stunning successes with all. I quite simply would not be here today if I had needed to rely just on doctors and mainstream medicine - tho don't get me wrong - I have had my life saved with surgery too - its all got its place on this planet - its knowing when to do what or use which that is the clever part sometimes
My mum was a nurse (well still is technically speaking!) but has been a chiropodist and reflexologist for the past 30+ years. I too am a trained reflexologist but I don't practice.
I've also had stunning results with homoeopathy on my cats and occasionally injured birds and mice and I don't think animals react to a placebo effect - they don't know that you're treating them one way or t'other - they either get better if you've got it right or get more ill or die if you've not got the right rememdy or if they were too ill to treat in the first place ........... there's a story or two there for some time when there's nothing better to talk about! Personally I've seen it work so often that I don't have any doubts about its effectiveness in a very real sense.
