Re: Hairy Caterpillar to ID

Clicked a few times on the 'paperclip' attachment icon a few times, eventually attachment window opened and here we have finally the Hairy Caterpillar approx 6cms long, found on the coastal path on Manorbier cliffs Pembrokeshire. A lot of Common Blue and a Large Skipper Butterflies photographed in area at the same time.
Many thanks for any info on the caterpillar and also what is its staple food please?
