Clever things these Crows you know! It's probably doing it's bit for the Keep Britain Clean campaign, and dumped it in a bin somewhere
. But I think your onto something as far as them getting clever! We have one in the garden this year and he/she picks up one of the nut baskets and drops it to the ground so that the top lifts off, grabs a beak full and fly's off. trouble is when he/she returns most of the remaining nut's have been taken by the madding hoards, it's like a scene from a Hitchcock movie. Cost's a fortune in nut's but I'm trying to get a picies of it
