re: Johny Kingdom

We watched Johnnys new programmes and really enjoyed them, as we did his last series, I hope all his projects in the wood come off although some of the trees looked a bit 'delicate' and I feel that one Birch in particular has probably seen its last summer. I don't understand why the tree wasn't 'bleeding' sap, as Birches are renowned for it if a branch is pruned or damaged, we had a small one break off in the wind and we had a heck of a job to stop it from weeping. He is so full of enthusiam but I sometimes have to laugh when things don't quite go to plan, when he's telling everyone else to be quiet yet keeps on talking and moving etc or especially when his water hide collapsed last night, he is perhaps natures Eddie the Eagle Edwards, although I did think if he says 'MY LAND' once more I'll scream, the pond is going to be great when it gets established and I hope it attracts lots of different birds and animals etc. I can't understand his wife saying that she'll never see him now he's got the wood, if it was me I would love to be down there helping him but perhaps that's not what she or he wants. I also enjoyed the Starlings at the end and think they equaled or even past Bills ones but would have perhaps liked to have seen a bit more of them and less of him pointing to where they were.
