We stayed at "Hunters Moon" caravan site just outside Wareham I got into a conversation with a neighbouring vanner who was packing up to leave.
He suggested putting a feeder out he had several on a pole so we put one on the hedge behind us and within minutes had THREE Nuthatches,Long tailed tits,Coal tits, Great tits ,Green finches, and some LBJ's the chap before had a long list of birds that he had spotted and I.D-ed
There was a magnificent Cock Pheasant patrolling the grass around the top toilet block and a good collection of Owls in the evening.
We toured and walked around but apart from Gulls, Buzzards, Kestrels did not see as much action as we did out of our back window(about a metre away
first photos were awful, then the lioness cleaned the salt and chalk roadspray off the window and things improved

Downside were the many dead
Badgers along the route (Bath to Wareham)
The (little) Tin Tent aroused much interest as did the Wild About Britain pennant in the back window, next outing in May (unless I can find an excuse to go before) my lovely Slapton, with its Ley and disappearing beach
