LOL - heard about getting possessive over things but a kettle....!!!
Ah - used to go out with London BTCV in the 80's and I wish some of those kettles had met their maker...goodness only knows what we were boiling up in some of them!!!
Just spent a few days with them in the Lakes a few years or so back
