my other half checked his banking online as usual a few months ago and noticed he was over a thousand pounds overdrawn. He queried this on the phone , (took hours ), and was eventually told the money had not left the account, however, they had to honour the spend and that would take around 4 days
They wouldn't cancel the transaction!! Eventually found the money was used to purchase over 1000 pounds of foreign currency in aldershot somewhere. We're very careful, shredding everything etc, however, where there's a will there's a way unfortunately.
