I have just come back after spending a little time away from the fresh air and open spaces. Its ok, I havn't been to prison, I have, unfortunately been working and trying to establish where my employer has lost 23 million pounds last financial year.

This diary and pictures are a real tonic Jeff. I am absolutley fascinated by what you are recording and can't wait for the next installment. It must be fantastic to have these lovely birds so close. I have been searching all winter for a sighting but so far to no avail. This just makes me want to get out there again and keep looking. Keep up the fantastic work.
