My bird of the day was as I looked out of bedroom curtains this morning looking at the frogs in the pond when I noticed a male Blackcap having a good bath at the edge, only the 4th time I've seen 1 in the garden, though they do breed locally.
Runners up was the fine pair of Bullfinch in the country park at the top of the road where I occasionally see them. |
