I flyfish or ultralight spin on the "topend" of the rivers round here (you can jump across most of them),brownies,sea-trout,chub (caught a record size chub once on ultralight,but just put it back and kept quiet about it,don't want "my" stream invaded by specimen anglers),pike,also on the estuaries for bass and mackeral . Caught a flounder once on fly !.And in Tenerife caught the ugliest fish I've ever seen, on fly in a harbour,all the locals were looking at me as if I was crazy,when I caught the ugly fish they were "mimeing "don't touch it !!!",long thin mottled brown with red eyes, (the fish ,not me !),no idea what it was,but bloody hell was it ugly !
