We have fantastic support from the vets we use. All our birds go to an avian vet, as we deal with about 60%, it's very important to get the right treatment and advice about what will realistically mend. We have received birds from other vets in the past with some very obvious injuries that have
been missed!
Our mammal vets again are superb, they treat our
Badger casualties, if a
Badger comes in with serious bite wounds from fighting , to clean them up they have to be sedated then we can get a real good look at their general condition. We are so lucky to have a vet that will visit any deer casualties, he will do his utmost to fit us in with his schedule.
We do have to pay vet bills, but have arrangements with them and give us a good deal.
