I have two birds of the day - goldcrests and treecreepers - seen in my garden.
There were at least three goldcrests, twittering and flitting around the firs, often coming down to the lower branches, giving me a very good view of them.
Whilst watching the goldcrests, I spotted a treecreeper in a fir. Another joined it and they flew up towards the treetops rather agitatedly chattering and flying round each other - so I assume they were fighting. One returned to the garden and spent some time on a willow.
Managed a few not very good photos of one of the treecreepers. I've borrowed a friend's 70-300mm lens; unfortunately it's extremely soft (but the poor results with it have given me a kick towards purchasing something an awful lot better!). I wish the one of it plummeting had come out sharper...
