No water shrew for me today...
I've erected a woodpecker attracting post in our back garden, which has got a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers visiting regularly in the mornings.
A day off today - so I thought I'd try and get a nice shot of one.
Unfortunately, the light was TERRIBLE (it was like NIGHT at 9am), and my bridge camera doesn't do over ISO200.
Then this little blighter decided to rub salt into my wounds.
My mammal of the day (reluctantly) is this fat, cheeky Grey Squirrel...
