Have any of you tried to purchase tickets in advance in previous years? Its all change this year, no tickets are to be issued except for those bought on the actual day. I gather this is probably due to either it being too easy to duplicate the tickets or maybe it is just too much hassle for the Fair team, as our cheque for tickets last year went missing in the post!!! Nevertheless my husband and I will be there and are looking forward to it as always, advance tickets or not!!!!

Yep, that's me. I have always helped on the Birdforum stand ever since their first appearance in 2003 so this will be my 4th one. I may also be organising a BF meet for the saturday as well.
Thankfully I don't have to worry about tickets as I work there I get them free.
