One of the drawbacks of introducing a large, sometimes aggressive animal onto a heavily populated little island which is the UK...

I remember a story from a few years ago, must have been when the first escapees were getting out. Some guy was chased up a tree by a wild boar, dropping his phone in the process. He was up there all night with the boar waiting for him underneath.
However a lot of people are coming into contact with wild boar without any problems - I would be a bit dubious about bumping into one!
