The 2008 competition launched last week, and there is no mention of Shell, or other major sponsor. Not sure if this has effected the prize pot or not?!
Maybe nhm & bbc can make enough from book sales, touring exhibition etc not to need a major sponsor - especially one that might be detrimental to the ethos of the competition?! |
