Years ago a haggis was put into the lining of a sheeps stomache just as sausage meat were put into the blood vessels and veins, before sythetic skins were used, the ingredients of the haggis:, it's mostly oatmeal, well spiced,with some Lamb, beef liver, beef heart all well minced, it,s quite a dry dish so I like mine with a bit of vinegar, mmmmmm cant wait.
