Two Egrets flying over my house and a Gold Crest for me today. I have noticed him/her bobbing around in the conifers a lot lately - would they normally nest in conifers?
Also, Mr and Mrs Jackdaw are 'loitering with intent' around our chimney again. I hope they get settled before Dad gets a chance to cap the chimney, as I rather enjoy hearing the babies shuffling about while I'm watching telly
