Sounds like you have a good number of foxes visiting. We have a couple of regulars, but one (the vixen) scoots away immediately. The other is totally relaxed but never makes any noise. He did when the cubs were about (generally a low growl).

We heard lots of cub noises over the summer. If they became too frantic, the dog fox would take an interest and go and make sure things were ok (especially if the fix sounds were accompanied by dog barks).
