Many thanks aeshna, I have Goldcrests too, so you never know Firecrests may visit you also. The conifer trees are what they are interested in but saying that I had a goldcrest in my apple tree 2 weeks ago. I first spotted this Firecrest about 4 weeks ago but I've not been out much since due to the weather, got a fantastic suprise when he surfaced again.
