Round here the cliffs are eroding all the time - they're chalk so guess things are kind of going in a circle. Then there's the area around Cuckmere Haven which hopefully will be allowed to become a saltmarsh, though there is opposition to this from a guy in a nearby holiday home. The alternative is huge, ugly flood defences, which wont be good for wildlife let alone aesthetics. Saltmarshes are important habitats and hopefully Cuckmere will be allowed to become one.
