There's very little to top Landrovers for true 4x4 capability.
I'm currently looking at getting a Defender 110 TDi, thing is I dont want one thats too old and knackered so the prices are slightly prohibitive, I'm sure a bargain will turn up sooner or later though
I used to have a Diahatsu Fourtrac 2.8 L turbo commercial, it was awesome off road and could tow a tremendous amount of weight, but its on road performance was not good, neither was its feul consumption
