I have my plans and they are big plans. I know what i am doing and how i am to do it. The signitures are the base. The individuals who sign the petition are also writing individual letters to accompany their signiture and these are being sent to me by email as well. The petitons are being run on several sites around the globe and i am missing out doing the local government one as they have a limit of just 200 signitures and then the petitions get closed...sorry but 200 is not going to change things.
As for the group...im a Wildlife Warrior-I belong to Steve Irwin's group whole heartedly. I have already been in contact with Australia zoo and they have told me that they have plans to start and anti whaling campaign which i can join as soon as it's running but for now i am to carry on my work. So you see i will have voices. I just have to wait for them to rise and then my plans can come into action.
It does appear to me however eeyore that you don't truly believe that one person can change the world or that people in a whole can change the world. Well i do believe and no cynacism is going to make me believe otherwise. I have belief that i can change this world...like i said...only death itself will stop me and if i have to die in the process of fighting for wildlife and the environment then so be it...yes that may be extreme but that is me inside and out. |
but dont the individuals who sign up have the right to know what you will be doing before they associate their names with it ? for example i would have no qualms with having my name associated with a reputable campaign such as that conducted by ifaw but if you were really planning on sinking a few whaling vessels or taking other dubious forms of direct action then i would be much less happy to be associated with it.
my view is yes individuals can change the world if they act together (to whit the anti cfc campaigns in the eighties and nineties) but it is important that in doing so they stay within the law, or at least within the bounds of civilised and reasonable conduct, as to stray outside these only discredits the environmental movement as a whole and gives policy makers that much more ammunition to disregard all eco views as being extremist thus doing far more harm than good in the long run
