The same bug went around at work end of November. I work in a care home which is part of a complex of 8 homes in total.
I suppose the residents are particularly susceptible but the speed in which every house was hit with it was scary.
Luckily I didn't get it, but so many people did.
I, too, hope that any one who is ill gets well soon!
