Hi,
I thought that I had best introduce myself.
I found this site a couple of weeks ago and desided that I should register and maybe contribute now and again to which looks as being a brilliant site
My real name is Ian but every one calls me Tab. I live near the east coast and I am the wrong side of 45 years of age.
I have interests in wild life and photography and have just switched from 35mm film to digital and so I am now getting used to not having to get photos developed.
I am lucky where I work as I managed 4 acres of land which is a haven for wild life.
We regularly spot the following at our site.
Sparrowhawks, Kestrels, Green woodpeckers, Barn owls and Tawny owls. We also had hundreds of
Rabbits but unfortunately most have just been killed off by decease. and we have a family of stoatswhich show themselves now and again. plus all the other common birds native to our area. We are lucky enough to have the kestrels and Tawny owls nest every year in boxes that we have put up, plus Robins, wrens and tits also nest well so hopefully I will be able to get some good photos this year and will add them to this site.
My work collegue is also a keen nature watcher and knows a lot more than me about birds.
Late spring 2007 we were both lucky enough to see an Osprey soar/fly right above our heads whilst we were working.
Thats it from me for now
