Hello Gareth yes you can get up to an eight inch reflecter for under three hundred pounds. If you have bad light pollution and you want to travel get a dobsonian or a four inch refractor short tube but with the dobsonian it will be harder to track if you want to take photos. But yes you surely can get a good deal with your money. I have a link somewhere I will have a look for it. regards Jim |
