I use CS 2, and like the control I can have with image editing. I've used Elements 6 on a friends computer, but for me there is too much automation. What I would like Adobe to do, is release a version of Photoshop without all the pre-press nonsense, specifically for photographers, and price it accordingly: I'm sure it would be a strong seller.
I agree with Brocker. Lightroom is an excellent piece of software, and I use it to convert my RAW files before finishing off in CS 2.
