Hi

I am going to the Algarve next May, the south-west area around Praia Da Luz.
I was wandering if anyone can give me some pointers to areas for some photography.I'm looking on the net but info seems scant.
I will be geared up for flowers , insects , approachable birds (I'm only taking a 300mm with converters) and especially reptiles and amphibians.
I know there will be great subjects round every corner with it being a new country but I was just thinking if anyone knew any gems for specific species or types.
