I'm not certain but an awful lot of water is turbid (not clear) this time of year due to sediment washed up by heavier rainfall and also dead veg matter. Also the aquatic plants die back and then less able to suck up nutriants which may then allow your pond to become murky.
Your filter will help keep things oxygenated I would have thought and it wouldn't suprise me if the pond sorts itself out again next year when the plants put on their first growth spurts..... |
