For starters we had “My life with animals: Charlotte Uhlenbroek. Her most memorable, not best, bits from her life watching and filming animals. It must be an on off series because there was a good one about Saba Douglas-Hamilton a few weeks ago.
That was followed by “An Otter in the family” some lovely scenes of a days old Otter who had been separated from its family during the floods. It was taken in by Philippa Forester and her family and they are trying to hand rear it and look to be doing a good job with the hope of releasing it in to the wild.
That was followed by another great part in the “Earth: The Power of the Planet” series. Great presenter and as always a real eye opener, for me anyway.

Agree BWD - an excellent evening, wish there were more of them. Particularly the earth series - it is so excellent. Even tho I know in theory about El Nino and the upwelling of warm currents and sinking of cold in the sea - and the oceans being joined - to actually see it represented and hear it spelled out - what will happen if humans alter it too much. Even in these dog days of human interference the earth is still trying to keep its balence...........
