Smile Long time no post.... more questions!!!!!

Hi! Not posted for ages owing to old PC dying and new PC having intermittent problems with the motherboard... which (of course) took weeks to find!!!!

Now, however, all is well..... so I am back to pick more brains please!!

I have not been idle though... the Birch tree is still in its pot - will plant out when weather is warmer.

Bird table is up and running and I have a pair of Tits - Great Tits I think, but their colour is very pale, a pair of Jays, four Wood Pigeons, several Magpies and numerous starlings!!!!!

QUESTION: Since my new neighbours cut down the tree in their garden there has been a total absence of sparrows what can I do to help encourage them back??

Also, what else can I do for the birds? I feed peanuts, mixed seed, fat balls/slabs and dried mealworms.

Many thanks.

Steph.
