We have never had any official feeding stations in the Chilterns, although some people do feed them in the privacy of their own back garden, etc.
The reason you see them from the M40 motorway is because woodland and fields are present on either side, where the kites can scavenge for food. The kites can often be seen drifting over the motorway. It is also close to the core area where the birds were originally released many years ago. |
