Hi, those thin, swept-back wings say falcon rather than hawk to me. For the size, I' say peregrine, but they don't have that very long tail when sitting.
We're not looking at someone's bird here, are we? I got really excited a few weeks ago looking at a Peregrine in a tree down in Kent, then i noticed he had jesses!
